Automobiles S.A.S. introduced the EB 16/4 Veyron concept,
a 16 cylinder car producing 1001 bhp DIN (736 kW)in
2001. The Veyron is the most powerful and expensive
car in the world and is currently in production. It
is named for the famed Bugatti racing driver, Pierre
Veyron.
